What are effective ideas for promoting or marketing a health product?

I just became an Independent Distributor for Herbalife and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on how to go about marketing the product. I would prefer ideas not to be so costly. Thanks!

Make a video and put it on the various video sites such as youtube and yahoo videos. Write articles about the benefits of using your product(s) and submit them to the different article directories such as goarticle and ezinearticles. Put up a squidoo lens. Put up a blog such as blogger (free) and submit the blog to blog directories and social networking sites such as digg and facebook. Just a few ways to promote products and all of them are free.
